For the person who wants the look of a traditional dual exhaust system with all the benefits that a Flowmaster® cat-back exhaust system provides. The American Thunder® exhaust systems are the perfect choice for the person wanting a deep powerful tone outside, with a mild to moderate increase of sound inside the cab. The exhaust system features a dual inlet flange that attaches to the factory flange behind the catalytic converters, all mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing flowing into a Scavenger Series Y-pipe for maximum scavenging of exhaust resulting in increased torque. The system then flows into a 70 Series™ “Big Block II” performance muffler giving you a deep powerful tone outside, and mild to moderate interior tone inside the cab. The dual tailpipes can be configured for either dual out the rear under the bumper for a muscular look, or dual out the sides behind the rear wheels, which is ideal for towing applications. The tailpipes are then finished off with a pair of 3.00-inch polished 304 stainless steel tips. Like all Flowmaster systems, the benefits include improved throttle response, power and mileage.
